BES Evaluation Center
To see how the BigFix Enterprise Suite can help you eliminate the vulnerabilities and manage configuration changes on your servers, desktop, and laptop computers, BigFix offers a free, fully functioning 30-seat, 30-day evaluation of BES that includes BigFix Patches for Windows. Additional product solutions can also be evaluated by the instructions below.
BES 5.0 (Advanced Edition) Eval + Patches for Windows Installation Instructions
To download and install BES Advanced Edition (evaluation version) with Patches for Windows included, simply follow the instructions below:- Verify that you have a computer that meets the minimum system requirements for the BigFix Enterprise Server.
- Download the BigFix Enterprise Suite Evaluation version below and run the installer.
- Download and read the BES Quickstart Guide to lead you through the installation and give you more information about the product.
- Follow the installation instructions to create an evaluation license and generate the installers for the BigFix Enterprise components.
- After the installation completes, you will be prompted with further instructions.

In addition to evaluating Patches for Windows, you can easily evaluation more BigFix solutions using the instructions below:- First you must download and install the BES 5.0 Advanced Edition (evaluation version) above. After everything is installed, you will have a functioning BES deployment with the Patches for Windows included.
- Open the BES Console application.
- Click on the links below to evaluate the sites. When prompted, choose to "open" the file. (Note: The product solutions below are only licensed for evaluation versions of BES and will not work with the full version of BES).
- The BES Console will then prompt you to add the Fixlet site that you selected. Click "OK" and type in your password.
- The Fixlet site will then be gathered from the BigFix Fixlet servers and transferred to the BES Clients. The BES Clients will then report if they have any relevant Fixlet messages after a short time.
- Repeat the previous 3 steps to add more sites for evaluation.
